Alabama Knights on Bikes State President
John Blackburn
The State President for the Alabama Knights on Bikes is Brother John Blackburn. Born in Hammond Indiana and raised in Calumet Township, Indiana. John is a 1st Generation Knight having joined the Knights of Columbus in 1996. John joined the Alabama Knights on Bikes upon its start up in 2022. He is the currant Grand Knight for Council 5636 in Daleville and the Faithful Comptroller of Assembly 1432 also in Daleville. He is a Past Grand Knight, Past Faithful Navigator and Former District Deputy, along with many other jobs. He has served the great state of Alabama as the Alabama State Youth Director and the State Disaster Awareness Chairman. John is a resident of Ozark, Alabama, and is happily married to his beautiful wife of 45 years, Nancy, the proud parent of 2 Boys, who are both BSA Eagle Scouts and KofC 4th Degree members. He is an active member of the St John’s Parish in Ozark. He has served his parishes as a Lay Minister, a CCD Teacher, and a Greeter at parishes in Alabama, Kentucky, and the Federal Republic of Germany. He is a veteran of the US Army having served 22 years in Infantry and Air Cavalry units.

Brandon Blackburn
The State Secretary/Treasure for the Alabama Knights on Bikes is Brother Brandon Blackburn. Born at Fort Rucker, Alabama, Brandon spit his time growing up between Alabama and Germany while his dad was serving in the Army. He is a 2nd Generation Knight having joined the Knights of Columbus in 2004 and the Alabama Knights on Bikes in 2023. He is a Past Grand Knight and he currently serves as the 2nd Year Trustee of his Council. Brandon is a resident of Ozark, Alabama. He is a BSA Eagle Scouts and KofC 4th Degree member. He is an active member of the St John’s Parish in Ozark.
