Welcome to the KofC Riders
Don’t let the black leather biker vests fool you. Members of the KofC Riders in Alabama wear theirs for inspiration, not intimidation. We are all members of the Knights of Columbus who also own and enjoy riding motorcycles as a hobby.
Emblazoned on the back of our motorcycle vests is the bright yellow emblem of the Knights of Columbus, a longtime Catholic fraternal organization dedicated to charity and evangelization. Above the emblem of the Knights of Columbus is a large cross stitched above the logo further cements the spirit of the riders and reminding all, that God is in control.
We are KofC Riders and we’re looking for new members!
We are organizing and have chapters in both the Archdiocese of Mobile and the Diocese of Birmingham.
We proudly wear the KofC logos on our vests and consider ourselves another visible arm of the KofC focusing on brotherhood, charity, and patriotism in the motorcycle community.

Do you own a motorcycle?
o Yes, must be a highway rated motorcycle AND LICENSED as per ALABAMA authority.
o If not, must plan on owning one within 6 months.
• Are you a member of the Knights of Columbus (KofC)?
o Yes, must be a “MEMBER in GOOD STANDING” as per the KofC Constitution.
o If not, we can help you get started at a KofC council near you.

• How do I get Vest and Crests?
o Any Member of the Knights of Columbus, KofC Riders may purchase these crests, 12” KofC Crest, 4” KofC Crest, 4” State Flag Crest, 4” National Flag Crest
If you are a member of the Knights of Columbus in good standing with your Council, and you own or ride a motorcycle (2 or 3 wheeled highway rated) you are encouraged to join us! Being Knights in good standing with our KofC councils and being regular participants in the Catholic Mass help us to all be united as Catholic Gentlemen. We represent Christ, The Holy Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. We must always carry ourselves in a way that shows our Catholic Faith to the world around us.
• Is Knights on Bikes a Motorcycle Club?
o NO, AT NO TIME WILL WE BE CONSIDERED A MOTORCYCLE CLUB (MC), MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION, or A GANG.
o WE ARE MEMBERS OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS THAT RIDE MOTORCYCLES.

It is important that our families and our Catholic Faith are with us in all that we do.
