Annual Blessing of the Bikes and Pro Life Motorcycle Run @ St John’s
Saturday, 08:30 am. May 10, 2025
The Pro-Life motorcycle ride will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, starting at 8:30 am with a Mass at St. John Catholic Church, 475 Camilla Ave, Ozark, Alabama. If we must reschedule due to weather, a make up day will be 10 May 2025.

The Blessing of the Bikes registration will start at 9:20 am, follow by a prayer ride. It will be celebrated on the last Saturday in April, prior to the National Motorcycle Mass and Blessing of the Bikes Day. The Blessing is open to all 2, 3 and 4-Wheel vehicles, scooters, bicycles, tricycles and even Roller Bladders are encouraged to join us. Catholic and Non-Catholics, all Christians are invited to attend. This year, after the Blessing, we’re going to ride a route that will take us west of Ozark, through the beautiful Alabama countryside.

We will begin the day with Mass (church service), Regardless of your religious beliefs, you are welcome to join us. This event is not intended to make anyone feel uncomfortable, just blessed, and welcomed; you will not be lectured or proselytized.

Following the Mass, our friend, Father Chris Boutin, will say a few kind words and then walk amongst the bikes and sprinkle our bikes with Holy Water and prayers. Then we’re done and on our way. All motorcyclists and vehicles are invited to stay and join us for the “PRAYER RIDE”, which will follow the blessing.

Those not riding motorcycles who wish to participate in the “PRAYER RIDE”, may do so by following the bikes in their own vehicles. The ride will begin approximately 15 minutes after the blessing and Prayer has ended, the ride is planned to end by 2:00 p.m.

Please note that this event is wonderful, but BRIEF — if you are late, you’ll miss it. We encourage people to wear their usual riding attire.
